Privacy Policy

This policy explains what A M Armaan, operating as YPAE, collects when you use this site or take part in an event, why we collect it, and how to get it removed.

What we collect

• Your email address. How you sign in, and how we send event information.
• Your display name. Shown next to your entry and in the participant list.
• What you submit. Entry title, description, repository link, video link, and screenshots.
• Progress and messages. Checkpoint submissions and anything you post in event chat.
• Payment records. The amount, status, and a payment reference. We never see or store your card details.

What is public and what is not

Your email address is never shown publicly. Public pages read from a restricted view that excludes it entirely.

Public: your display name, your entry, its images, and the written review of it. Private: your email, your numeric score breakdown, your payment records, and your chat messages.

Who processes it

• Supabase. Database, authentication, and file storage.
• Vercel. Hosting.
• Razorpay. Payment processing. Card details go directly to Razorpay and never reach our servers.
• Our email provider. Delivery of sign-in links and event notices.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Account and entry data is kept for as long as your profile exists, so that your past participation stays on your record across events. Payment records are retained as long as Indian tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or remove your entry from public display. Write to amohamed@karunya.edu.in and we will respond within 30 days.

Removing your entry from the gallery does not require deleting your account, and deleting your account does not remove anything you published elsewhere, such as your own GitHub repository.

Cookies

We set a session cookie to keep you signed in. That is a strictly necessary cookie. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Children

Our events are open to school-age participants. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian review this policy. A parent or guardian can request removal of a minor’s data by writing to the address above.
