The Accretion Carousel

Accretion Carousel is an interactive, GPU-accelerated black hole simulation where light and a glowing accretion disk twist around a spinning Kerr black hole. Driven by relativistic effects such as gravitational lensing, Doppler beaming, gravitational redshift, and a spin-dependent ISCO, the simulation turns extreme gravity into a real time visual experience. Change the spin, inclination, and camera view and watch spacetime reshape the carousel of light. Experiment with the parameters enough, and you might even catch a glimpse of a distorted Einstein ring.
