QUASAR – Quantum Wave Analysis & Slit Simulation for Advanced Research
Where Quantum Theory Meets Interactive Reality.

What it does
QUASAR is an interactive simulation platform that recreates Young's Double-Slit Experiment using real-time computational physics. Developed with Python, Taichi, and scientific visualization libraries, the simulator numerically solves the 2D scalar wave equation to generate physically accurate diffraction and interference patterns while demonstrating fundamental quantum mechanics concepts such as wave–particle duality, single-particle accumulation, and measurement-induced decoherence.
The platform enables users to modify experimental parameters, including wavelength, slit width, slit separation, source characteristics, and detector settings—in real time while visualizing the resulting interference behavior through multiple scientific and educational views. By combining GPU-accelerated numerical computation with an intuitive interactive interface, QUASAR transforms one of physics' most iconic experiments into an engaging educational and research tool.
