Manas - Universal Sim Engine
The universe is you, the universe you can envision...

What it does
MANAS is a prototype for an interactive astrophysics simulation platform. I wanted to make something where the simulation is actually the main thing, not just a space visual with lots of effects around it.
Right now it has three modules: A Binary sytstem, a Pulsar Lab and a Black Hole Lab. In the Pulsar Lab, the pulse signal is based on the actual alignment between rotating beams and an observer, so changing the period or viewing geometry changes what gets detected. The Black Hole Lab is more of a visual environment right now, with parameters like mass and spin, plus a calculated Schwarzschild-radius scale.
The terminal only supports things that are already built into the project. The goal is eventually to have a place where you can load systems, change meaningful parameters, inspect what is happening, and see it play out in 3D.
This is still an early prototype, but I wanted to get the foundation right: interactive canvas, actual state behind the visuals, telemetry that is connected to the simulation, and being honest about what is calculated versus what is there to make the scene readable
