Feed the Beast — The Life of a Neutron Star
Prakhar Neve
An interactive 3D neutron-star laboratory where you feed the star and watch its physical state evolve.

What it does
Feed the Beast is an interactive 3D neutron-star simulation built with Python and Taichi. Control the accretion rate and watch the system respond through a connected physical model: accretion changes mass and angular momentum, which changes rotation and pulsar frequency, driving the radiation beams and activity. The simulation includes an accretion disk, magnetic-field visualization, particle outflow, live scientific telemetry, simulation time controls, and validation checks. It uses PSR J1023+0038 as a reference while clearly separating observed parameters from computed and simplified models.
