Black Holes.
A point of no return.

What it does
This project is an interactive, real-time black hole simulation built in Python using the Taichi GPU framework. It delivers a cinematic visual of a glowing accretion disk and event horizon while remaining fully playable and responsive on a standard PC.
The simulation calculates the orbital mechanics of 50,000 individual gas particles using Paczyński-Wiita gravity, accurately modelling the Innermost Stable Circular Orbit (ISCO).
It bridges the gap between raw astrophysics and beautiful creative coding. You can dynamically orbit the camera, alter time dilation, toggle relativistic Doppler beaming, and spawn tidal disruption events in real-time.
