Black Hole Sim
A black hole simulatio

What it does
A GPU-accelerated black hole simulation built in Taichi, modeling 65,000 particles orbiting under Newtonian gravity with a general-relativistic correction near the innermost stable orbit. The accretion disk is viewed nearly edge-on, rendered with Shakura-Sunyaev temperature coloring, Doppler beaming (approaching matter glows brighter), and an analytical photon ring and event horizon. A secondary particle-based halo traces the ISCO ring itself, mimicking gravitationally lensed light looping around the black hole. A static procedurally generated starfield sits behind everything, composited so the event horizon stays solid black. Interactive controls let you drop matter, launch probes, resize the black hole, and toggle motion trails in real time.
