What it does

The Black Hole Accretion Disk Simulator is a scientifically accurate, real-time physics visualization that demonstrates how matter, light, and space-time behave in the extreme gravitational environment surrounding a black hole. The simulation incorporates key concepts from General Relativity, including gravitational attraction, orbital mechanics, relativistic motion, and photon trajectories around the event horizon. It visualizes the formation and evolution of an accretion disk using realistic particle dynamics, while optional effects such as gravitational lensing, Doppler beaming, and color shifts provide an authentic representation of observations made by modern telescopes.
